Jack BryantJack D. Bryant, PE, PhD, Founder

Jack Bryant was active in the industry for over six decades managing projects in the United States, Canada, Southeast Asia and North Africa. He founded Bryant Associates, Inc. in 1976 in Boston, MA and successfully shepherded its growth through the development of the firm's engineering, survey and construction management practices across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.

Over his long career, he supported and was actively involved in many professional organizations, including the Society of American Military Engineers, where he was bestowed the designation of Fellow in 1999, the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.  

What's more, having served in World War II as a Tuskegee Airmen in the United States Army Air Corps, Jack was awarded with the ‘Congressional Gold Medal’ in 2007, one of the nation's highest honors.

As CEO, Mr. Bryant is responsible for providing strategic direction and management oversight of the firm’s operations across all office locations. He also manages the day-to-day operations in our Boston office.  

He has over two decades of experience in the areas of bridge design and rehabilitation, street and sidewalk reconstruction, site development, highway and railroad earth retention systems and utility relocation. Mr. Bryant also serves as Principal-In-Charge for many of the firm’s design projects.  

He holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, is a licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts and New York and is a member of several professional organizations including: Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, North American Society for Trenchless Technology and the Society of Military Engineers.

With nearly two decades of experience providing transportation and traffic engineering services, Mr. Brayton, has performed numerous traffic and parking impact analyses for proposed developments—from trip generations and capacity analysis, to site circulation reviews and preliminary and final design engineering for traffic and highway improvement projects.

In addition to overseeing transportation/traffic engineering services for the firm, Mr. Brayton is the Director of Operations for Bryant Associates Rhode Island office. In this capacity, Mr. Brayton provides project supervision and management, scheduling, professional staff supervision, and quality control/quality assurance.  He also is responsible for direct client interaction in order to maintain delivery of the contract designs, evaluations and budgets.

Todd holds an MS and BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He is an active Member of the Rhode Island chapters of the Institute Transportation Engineers, and the Intelligent Transportation Society (ITS) and is the current Secretary of the Executive Board of the Providence Engineering Society. Mr. Brayton is also a member of the Chi Epsilon Honor Society and Tau Beta Pi Honor Society.

Mr. Hamilton is a licensed Land Surveyor in multiple states with over 30 years' experience working in both the public and private sectors. His broad experience includes large and small, rural and city projects such as roadway and utility surveys, housing, airports, universities, construction/engineering projects, railways, bike paths, dams and bridges, hazardous waste sites, waterfront properties and piers, parks and playgrounds, and as-needed contracts. As Director of Corporate Survey, Gary's responsibilities include supervising projects from initial client contact; including technical scoping and contractual agreements through final deliverables.

Mr. Hamilton holds an Associates of Applied Science degree from Paul Smith's College, is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).

With more than 30 years of extensive domestic and international expertise, in both the public and private sectors, Gary Moore has a wealth of civil engineering experience and knowledge. He has worked performing solid waste, water and wastewater engineering, asset and construction management, efficiency/ analysis studies, comprehensive master planning and civil/site engineering services for municipalities and utility companies as well as working with commercial and residential clients. As Director of Operations for the Mid-Atlantic, Mr. Moore oversees projects from inception to completion, and provides project supervision and management, scheduling, budgetary, professional staff supervision, and quality control/quality assurance.

Gary earned a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Water Environment Federation / Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA) and America Water Resource Association (AWRA). He has also co-authored and presented on Water and Wastewater Management at WEFTEC, ASCE, AWRA and CWEA conferences.

Rick StormRick Storm, PE, Director of Operations, Midwest

With over 25 years of experience, Rick has a broad depth of project management and engineering expertise for water and transportation infrastructure projects working for various municipal owner agencies. As the Director of Operations and Project Manager for the Midwest, Mr. Storm provides project supervision and management, scheduling, professional staff supervision, and quality control/quality assurance. He also is responsible for direct client interaction in order to maintain delivery of the contract designs, evaluations and budgets.

Rick holds a Master of Engineering and a BS in Applied Science from the University of Louisville and is a member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is the Treasurer for the Kentucky Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). He also has won several awards including the American Public Works Association Kentucky Employee of the Year award in 2005 and the Kentucky Society of Engineers, Achievement in Government Award in 2011.
