Mansfield Commuter Rail Station

Mansfield, MA

Due to increased traffic congestion the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is planning several accessibility and parking improvements at the Commuter Rail Station in Mansfield, MA. The improvements include, new handicap accessible vehicle parking spaces, new pedestrian accessible concrete ramps, new “mini-high” passenger platforms at track side, and new inbound and outbound passenger platforms.

As a subconsultant, Bryant was responsible for updating the existing conditions survey; design of the replacement platforms; preparing the structural design of accessible pedestrian ramps; site/civil improvements, including stairs and pedestrian ramps; and stormwater drainage improvements in parking lots.
