Bryant Associates Engineering and Land Surveying is a member of the design team performing project scoping and preliminary design on this $500M project for the New York State Department Of Transportation (NYSDOT) – Region 5.

When the six lane Kensington Expressway was built back in the 1950’s and 1960’s it removed the tree lined, Olmstead designed Humboldt Parkway and divided the neighborhood with a below grade expressway. This project would lower the Expressway with a 3700’ long cut and cover tunnel and restore the Humboldt Parkway over the top of the tunnel.

Bryant’s design tasks include construction cost estimates, utility designs and the design of the Humboldt Parkway and local City streets.
