The City of Waltham is studying the renovation/replacement of the existing Waltham High School on Lexington Street. As part of the Feasibility Study, Bryant performed a Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) to determine the impacts from the proposed project on the existing site. The TIA included the capacity analysis of the signalized entrance and exit driveways and other nearby intersections, as well as the review of crash data on the adjacent roadways. A site plan review was performed and Bryant provided recommendations for potential changes to improve site circulation. Bryant also performed a TIA for an alternate site at the former Fernald School campus, which ultimately was not selected, and is currently performing a TIA at another alternate location.
