As part of the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority 4C Construction Management contract, Bryant provided construction management services for the combined sewer separation at the Anacostia River.
This consent decree project consisted of 230 LF of 10” to 30” diameter sewer pipe, 1,700 LF of 15” to 24” storm sewer pipe, 3,350 LF of 6” to 12” water main pipe, as well as the replacement of 4,800 LF of lead water service pipe in both public and private space. The project also separated 14,000 LF of private roof/area drains in both public and private space.
Another task order included the replacement of 4-½ miles of old cast iron water main with new ductile iron pipe in the Anacostia 2nd High Service Area. Water mains varied in sizes up to 30” in diameter. The project included the replacement of lead service lines with new copper lines in public and private space.
