Bryant provided survey and engineering services for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation’s 1R Highway Improvements to Main Street (RI Route 107) project in Burrillville, RI, for enhancement of both pedestrian and vehicular traffic operations and safety.
The project included evaluation and rehabilitation of the roadway, sidewalks and drainage system. Two box culverts, which required frequent maintenance due to their age and deteriorated condition, were also replaced, which involved water main and communications conduit relocations.
Bryant prepared the supporting documentation for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management permit that was received for the project. Bryant also performed a boundary and topographic survey of the project and prepared temporary use and access agreements and temporary and permanent easements. Construction was completed in 2017.
