As part of the revitalization project at the Boston Common, Bryant provided survey, engineering and construction administration services over 2 phases of improvements at Brewer Fountain and Lafayette Mall, which is the gateway to the Massachusetts State House.
Services included existing conditions survey, including utility and property line surveys which were used by Bryant to provide stormwater drainage design services. Design of the replacement stormwater drainage system included the incorporation of underground storage chambers used for ground water recharge in response to reduction of nitrogen/phosphorous loadings directed towards the nearby Charles River watershed. Bryant provided site grading and overall drainage associated with Phases I & II of this project. Also provided resident engineering services associated with the construction of all components for Phase II of the project which revitalized the high-traffic area of parkland leading up to the Massachusetts State House.
