Bryant Street Pumping Station is located in the heart of the District’s water distribution system. The pumping station receives drinking water from reservoirs and pumps it to all areas of the city.
HVAC improvements throughout the Bryant Street Pumping Station included the addition of multiple diffusers to improve return air flow, hardware and software modifications to the building management systems, fire suppression systems and destratification fan system of the building. Work also included providing interface ductwork to existing supply/exhaust ductwork to provide cooling ventilation. Bryant performed resident engineering services for this contract including communication between stakeholders, monitoring the construction schedule and financial progress, producing and logging RFI documentation, progress meetings, among other tasks.
