Bryant is providing engineering services for Parcel V-1, a 90,000 SF surface parking lot at the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park, a portion of which is situated within the 100-foot wetland resource area buffer of Boston Harbor.
Services include: investigation of the existing site for the removal and salvage of a temporary steel Quonset hut; assessment of existing pavement conditions and provisions for improvements to the storm water collection system which included the installation of two new storm water quality control structures; design of a new full-depth parking lot pavement structure and perimeter sidewalks; parking lot striping, signage, bike shelter canopy; security fencing and video monitoring; site lighting; new power/telecommunications service; new fee collection system and new electronic vehicle charging stations. Final design documents were filed with and approved by the City of Boston Conservation Commission as part of a Notice of Intent filing, as well as and with Boston Water and Sewer Commission under their Site Plan Review requirements.
