Woburn Public Library Wins BSA Award
The Woburn Public Library received a 2020 Honor Award for Design Excellence from the Boston Society for Architecture. The project was honored at the annual 2020 Design Awards Gala, held virtually in January 2021.
Originally designed by H. H. Richardson in 1876, the Woburn Public Library was in need of an expansion to accommodate the city’s growing population. The simple and elegant 30,500 SF addition offers a contemporary expansion that compliments the existing building.
Working as a subconsultant to CBT Architects, Bryant completed the schematic design phase for civil engineering for utilities, drainage, grading, parking, vehicular access and miscellaneous site improvements. Bryant also worked on the relocation of existing utilities and drainage, roadway relocations and miscellaneous site improvements.
